"Zhongxia Duānwǔ means the fifth day of the fifth lunar month. It is a custom to attach great importance to this day, just like the Summer Solstice." As the Dragon Boat Festival approaches, with the fragrance of zongzi leaves and mugwort in the air, in order to promote excellent Chinese traditional culture, enrich employees' spiritual and cultural lives, enhance team cohesion, and convey deep care for frontline employees, on May 30, 2025, Haijiang Group carefully organized and planned a series of celebration activities with the theme of "Celebrating Dragon Boat Festival with Affection and Striving Together," allowing employees to experience the unique charm of traditional festivals amidst ancient and modern rhythms.
The warmth of zongzi-eating season fills the air, ? Strong is the bond as we gather together.
"Colored threads wrap green bamboo zongzi, fragrant japonica rice forms white jade balls." The Group carefully prepared rich ingredients such as zongzi leaves, glutinous rice, beans, and honey dates, and organized employees to jointly carry out a zongzi-wrapping activity.
Everyone sat around together, smoothing out zongzi leaves, filling them with glutinous rice, sealing the openings, and tying them up. With deft hands fluttering, zongzi full of affection gradually took shape. The venue was filled with laughter and the rich aroma of zongzi, echoing the poetic line "Flowers compete in beauty through all seasons, while nine-son zongzi strive for novelty," as everyone shared the joy of the festive occasion.
After the zongzi-wrapping activity, all participants had a warm dinner together in the staff canteen, further deepening the communication and friendship among colleagues.
Crafting Moxa Hammers with Skillful Hands, ? Ancient Recipes Embodying Health and Well-Being
In the afternoon of the same day, the Group's headquarters specially set up a Dragon Boat Festival handicraft workshop. Amidst a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere, employees used prepared materials and tools to personally sew exclusive mugwort health hammers, in line with the traditional saying: "Holding an(Note: 'mugwort flag') to (Note: 'summon hundreds of blessings'), and hanging a cattail sword on the door to cut through a thousand evils."
This handicraft experience inheriting the wisdom of ancient recipes not only allows everyone to relax during work breaks, but also enables the handcrafted mugwort hammers to be applied in daily life. Holding in their hands and embedding in their hearts is a blessing rooted in tradition and symbolizing health.
Caring for Frontline Workers, Sending Festival Greetings Regularly
"Setting sail together in the same boat, riding the wind and waves for a ten-thousand-mile voyage." The Group cares deeply about employees who remain 堅(jiān)守 (Note: "stand fast" or "remain committed to") their posts at project frontlines during the festival. It has specially organized relevant leaders of branches and project departments to make meticulous preparations, delivering Dragon Boat Festival gifts and sincere greetings embodying corporate care to project employees who cannot return home for reunion. The Group expresses gratitude for their hard work, ensuring that all Haijiang members, even when located in different regions across mountains and rivers, can feel the strong festive atmosphere and the warmth of "home," and experience the collective sentiment of "Who initiated the Dragon Boat Festival? For 萬古 (Note:"eternity") it has been said to commemorate Qu Yuan."
